  • For the past couple of years, Lifeline has been attempting to expose students to the need that exists right here in Grand Rapids, while giving students a peek into dozens of local organizations that are doing something about it. We hope that each student going on this trip would leave understanding the need that’s around them as well as how they can be a part of God’s plan for change.

  • Students will be staying at Cornerstone University in three different dorms. Most of the dorms are suite style, with a bathroom in the middle.
Students will be separated by grade and gender in the dorms. Leaders and staff will be monitoring each dorm and will be housed throughout each floor.

  • See the packing list here!

  • See below for our policy on phones. Our hope for this trip is that students can fully immerse themselves in the work and people whom they are serving! Staff and Leaders will have their phones and be with students during work projects at all times, so we will have a “no phones during service projects” rule.

MIDDLE SCHOOL - We are asking that 6th and 7th grade students leave their phones at home this week. A few years back we made this trip a no-phone trip and were glad we did. Leaders will have phones and staff will be rotating to each organization throughout the trip. We will provide contact information to all staff so you have our information as well. Thank you in advance!

    HIGH SCHOOL
    - We are allowing 8th - 12th grade students to bring their phones. will ask them to leave phones behind during service projects. Students will be able to have phones during free time and we will ask them to power down after midnight.
